Business Class on Airbus 321?

I'm flying to Phoenix on AC soon on Business Class, using United points. Believe it's on an Airbus 321.

Does anyone know what kind of seating I'll find in Biz Class on the 321? I note the pitch is much less on North American flights compared to International Business Class but what about comfort, etc?

I flew a 320 British Midland recently and business class had 2 seats on one side and 3 on the other side (centre vacant). Same idea for AC?

Yup, agree with the guys above. The seats feel hard. The bad news is that (I believe) the intent pre-CCAA was that this was to be the new J seat on the whole 319/320 fleet also.

J seating on the A321 is 2 + 2. I think the pitch is 40" but may be wrong. The seats have a "massage unit" built in. Because of this you cannot store your briefcase under the seat in front of you as the space is taken up with the motor unit for the massage thing. All seats in J have a regular 120 volt plug in. I find the seats uncomfortable. However, that may just be a personal thing. At least the A321 is the newest addition to the A.C. fleet.

I don't remember the pitch but the seats are 2-2.

The seats are quite new and I find the padding a little too firm for my liking. However, the seats are all electric and have a massage feature.

The best thing, for me anyways, is that there's a normal electric plug in your seatrest.

All in all, much better than the A320's.
