Duration of Skywards miles

How long does it take for the miles to expire(if there is such a thing). I have this year accumulated 25000 and am waiting for my silver card. I know that i will have the benefits of the silver card for the whole of next year. But is there a time limit to when i need to use the miles before they expire?

Your online Skywards statement shows when your miles are due to expire. AFAIK status members' miles don't expire, so you have an extra year on top of the 3 years.
