Minimum connection time changed
January 5th, 2009
CBSA can be slow at YYC, particularly if you come in behind any of the afternoon European arrivals. You then have to wait for bags, go past the second agent, pop your bag onto the tranfer belt, head upstairs and clear security to access Concourse A (a five minute walk, probably).
On a good day, you might be able to do this in 20 minutes, but on a bad one, even 50 would be cutting it close.
I back this up 100% ^
because most Jazz flights leave from gate 1 so the customer basically stays in the same area to board their next flight.
AC requires 50 minutes and I wouldn't want to give myself much less than that.

:30 is the connect time to/from Jazz
:35 is the mainline connect time
Yah, but I could be wrong. I am going from memory. Something that is getting harder to do every day.

I've been trying to figure this out -- why would there be different cnx times for JZA and ACA?
Okay the walk up the escalator is 30 seconds and you are at a mainline gate.
