No new 'Battlestar Galactica' until October?

I'm only on the 4th episode of the first season, but I expected a few others would be interested in this article: http://bitsofnews.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3448

Well, we went from first 10 episodes Midish July - Mid September. Then next episode FOUR MONTHS later Mid January. Mid Jan - March 10 episodes 11-20.

I'd rather wait the extra 4 months initially so that I don't have to wait 4 months in the middle!

SO wait, if it starts in October does that mean no mid-season break? No Season 3b?

If so man I am SO on board with that.

I imagine that could be very annoying with a progressing show like this. It works well for Monk, though.

Yeah, and the first season of 13 episodes started in January 2005 in the USA. (September 2004 in the UK).

If it starts in October, will there still be a 4 month long mid-season break? Because the mid-season break starts mid-september when the shows start in July.

Can this do well on NBC?? I know they showed the mini-series on NBC at least once to promote the new series. But is started a show on a major network a good idea when it will be on its 3rd season?

I'd rather do either way than Lost's obnoxious rerun schedule.

I'm fine with it. Last year the first half started in July. 2nd half in January.

Moore has already whined about the added work of a longer season so give em a few more months to get the next season better works for me.
