I think it's stupid how people can be so fake!!!
they go around saying how they like something, but then they dont even know anything about that person except for thinking that they're hot!!
that is so stupid!!!
and i bet confusing.
here's an example.
i saw this girl, her name had something to do with the jonas brothers and then she says she likes chris brown because he's hot.
i think that she doesn't even listen to his music because
1)most likely if you like the jonas brothers, you won't like good music like chris brown, you know, r&b and rap.
2)she only put she liked chris brown because he was hot.

i find this offensive. she says she likes the jonas brothers and then she puts people who are way better than them in the same category!!!
what the heck is wrong with her????
i mean chris brown is not like my favorite singer or whatever, but still, he's way better than the jonas brothers!!!

Ok, first of all its your opinion if you think that Chris Brown lands in a better category than The Jonas Brothers, i havent really heard the Jonas Brothers, but that doesnt mean they suck because they arent rap or R&B. I liike all music so dont diss something like that it just makes you look pathetic and stupid. the only person thats fake is you.

Uhh ok I would just like to point out you know not to be mean just stating the facts about me. Now I'm black and supposed to be like in love with rap or something (hahah ;)...) but i'm not i really really LOVE hip hop music i take hip hop dance class. But looky here i also take modern and jazz. I'm just gunna let you know that I am one of the BIGGEST Jonas Brothers fans on this planet! I love them to death! But I also love Chris Brown and have all of his songs on my iPod. I have everything from Classical, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B,Rock, Alternative, Gospel, Dance/Electronica. Every other genre you can think of. The point is whoever ur talkin about you need to leave her alone she can like whomever she wants. And a ton of girls first start liking famous people because of there looks thats just the way its gunna be in our society. Now I like them both, they both make killer music (Chris Brown and the Jonas Brothers) I just am not seeing ur issue with her liking them both. She can get hyphy to E-40 and listen to Fall Out Boy! (for example.) The way other people feel about things has NOTHING to do with you. Your allowed to like someone regardless of all of the things ur talking about. SO yeah I kinda think ur a tad crazy with this one...

gurl calm down! i like them both. i like Chris more though. that's ma baby. but its OK if she likes both Chris brown and the Jonas brothers that really shouldn't bother you so much. i think they both have great music its just total different genres and you cant get mad at that girl just because you don't like the Jonas brothers. everybody knows that he's hot!;)

I agree, liking someone {like a singer} is really shallow, u shuld like their music too, if they dont like the music but do admit its good, ie i cant STAND the soulja boy song but it it really cool i admit n its a great theme-y type song its ok, but lots of people are shallow now, its a sad fact

I think you have went a little off the deep end. I like Chris Brown and the Jonas Brothers, as well as Kenny Chesney and ACDC, there is nothing wrong with liking diferent types of music. And I don't tell me about rap this or rap that or some people don't get it, lol, I've been listening to old school rap since you were in your mother's ovaries. Get a hobby honey.

I kind of get what you mean. I also look for inspiring messages when I listen to songs, but I actually think the Jonas Brothers have some very good meanings in their songs. I know that a ton of their "fans" only like them for their looks, without even bothering to listen to their music. And of course, that's a sad thing, because they're MUSICAL ARTISTS, and they should be liked for their music and not just looks.

However, I don't quite understand your question..? What do you mean "if you like the Jonas Brothers, you won't like good music like Chris Brown - r&b and rap"? That's kind of rude, actually. Everyone has different tastes in music, and "good music" is different for everyone. You may think R&B and rap is "good music", and that's cool. I know there are some very good, deep songs that make you cry that are rap and R&B, but other genres of music like pop, rock, country - they also mean a lot to other people and people consider it "good music", too. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking both Chris Brown and the Jonas Brothers. I know they're two different genres and two totally different artists, but still.. there isn't anything wrong with liking different music. Sure, the girl you're talking about may only like them for their looks.. but teenage girls..? How are they supposed to analyze music and dig deep for meanings? Kids don't need to be thinking that deep.. as long as the music has a good beat and the artist is good looking, that's all it takes for teenagers to like them and consider them their "favorite band". There isn't anything wrong with that.. but as long as the person at least ENJOYS the music, then I would consider them a fan, regardless of their other music choices or whether or not the artist is "hot".

I disagree, rap very many good songs, and what you said about rap has meaning, well, its not usually a very good meaning is it?
