XBMC image trouble...

i seem to have a small problem that is bothering me and i can't figure out. i finsished updating xbmc (pimped edition 4-1-06) and when i booted it up the images that appear in the background are missing. the ones that change when you move from "my programs" to "my music" or anywhere else in the main menu. how do i get them to show? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you! oh and this is the first time i've ever attempted to upgrade xbmc so if you can think of anything i might have done wrong or if you can think of any tips that would be great.

i think its xbmc/skin/project mayhem iii/media/textures.xpr
if in doubt, just resync the project mayhem iii folder, good luck

actually i used avalaunch as my ftp client but what you said does make sense. is there another way to update the texture files? what folder are they located in so maybe i can just replace those?

yeah man my buttons work. it's just the images that don't appear. it probably something stupid that we're missing. i'm gonna try to switch to the 3-25-2006 version and see if that fixes anything.

this often happens when the textures file hasn't been updated. this is probably cause you used xbmc as your ftp client when you updated so the textures file was in use.
if this is the case i would use a different client i.e. you modchip client (if you have one) or dvd2xbox.
